Ok, I may be new here (ig; cheddy.ju) but I just wanted to share why I think that Rina Tennoji is good representation for autistic people (even if she isn't autistic).

Ok, first of all; I'm autistic myself. I was diagnosed some years ago at 13 (late diagnosis), and I heavily love autistic-coded characters (like Hina Hikawa, from Bang Dream!). So yeah, this is my entirely subjective opinion and a headcanon overall.

Then let's get to it; why I find Rina Tennoji is good autistic representation.

To begin, I think that her whole "can't express herself" thing is pretty relatable, but my analysis goes beyond that. Autism is seen in different ways, and this could be just a part of her personality beyond the spectrum.

What really catches my eye is how the girls treat Rina in the anime when she isn't able to express herself: they accept it. There's no punchline involved at Rina's sake. I mean, there's comedy in those moments, but it never is to paint a negative light on Rina. They just kindly laugh it off and continue the conversation.

Another thing that I love, is how the anime portrays the message; "there's nothing wrong with you". In rina's episode, we see how she is trying to change herself to be "normal" (I surely can relate to that), but forced change is never the solution, as the other girls notice. They keep on accepting her, and when she uses another medium of expression (Rina Chan Board) that accomodates her needs, they are happy for her.

And I think that's the great message overall; there's nothing wrong with you. You don't need to change the typical way, and people should adapt to you; not the opposite.

Is Rina autistic? Probably not officially, but it still can be relatable to autistic people like myself, and feel a little bit more represented in media.

Well the Kanata episode has finally arrived anddd... Kanata has become my top 3 LL girl

The Kanata episode is definitely my favorite of the Nijis. She managed to move me a lot more than Rina's. Seeing how Kanata strives to run the house, take care of Haruka, get good grades, and be a school Idol made me empathize with her as a character.

The relationship between Haruka and Kanata seems beautiful to me, my favorite sister relationship, I like it even more than DiaRuby

The detail of more N girls appearing I liked very much, I hope we can see the rest of the N girls as rivals (PLEASE GIVE ME MARIA)

And as for the song, Butterfly is from now on my favorite Nijigasaki solo. Akarin's voice in this song is much better than usual, and is very different from the rest of Kanata's solos. The phrases in English give a very special touch and the reference Haruka Kanata in the chorus, I really liked. And if we talk about the incredible animation of the pv, the camera in cinema mode, the beautiful scans of Kanata and the suit. Phew.

Last day: Spooky

I didn't do anything IRL for Halloween, so I played the Halloween event in Animal Crossing. I didn't think it would bring me that much joy. It was so adorably cute. So for this prompt, i drew a villager-like Kotori, making the "scare" reaction you unlock on that day, in front of the "spooky arch" that you can craft using pumpkins you harvest in October. Happy - late - Halloween! 🎃👻

I had a hard time figuring out how I wanted her eyes to look. I wanted them animal crossing like but with a Love Live! vibe and it didn't work so I redrew them completely, but then my SO told me she looks like that "Kanon anime derp face" meme, so I moved them around. At this point I've been looking at her eyes for so long I can't tell if they look good or not 🤣

Day 28: Unstoppable

Nothing can stop Honoka - certainly not the rain! 🌧️✋ This is a scene from the 1st episode of the 2nd season where Honoka magically stops the rain by yelling "Rain, stop!" (雨やめ, ame yame).

It was a super fun challenge! I enjoyed redrawing the rainy background, though I did cut out the building from an #llsif background - I need to get some sleep 😂😴

Day 27: Symbol

I've always been a big fan of the symbolism in the Love Live! universe. From the feather travelling from a generation to the other, to how you can tell a girl just from a small icon and its color. Even without using the actual icons, if you just draw a 4-leaves-clover and a yellow bow, you just know it's Chika. So many little details like that. It's just really cool!
