The one thing that has always bugged me about Love Live is why they never showed what happened to Yukiho and Alisa’s idol group that they made at Otonokizaka to continue Muse’s legacy. They keep adding all these new spinoffs and stuff but they could really expand on this idea since Yukiho and Arisa are already characters that have established personalities that would be perfect to build and expand upon. How did I get into LoveLive and what it means to me?

It's a story I most definitely love to tell and will never forget because thinking back; it's just so entertaining and special to me.

It started before I even knew what a LoveLiver was.(I was a little new to the internet and it's slang). I was also very new to anime; only have watched K-On, Squid Girl, and a bit of Ouran Highschool Host Club because of my older sister. Because of those things, I GUESS it was, like, my awakening to liking girls but I just DIDN'T know😂. At that time, I was REALLY into My Little Pony and Tumblr was VERY filled with the MLP fans so I occasionally looked at tumblr posts of MLP art and such. But then one day I stumbled across a fanart of EliUmi and my dense mind awakened and thought "WOWOWOWOWOW THAT'S SO CUTE. THEY LOOK CUTE TOGETHER. WHAWHAWHA--" and looked through the EliUmi tag having the thought that they were POPULAR and ORIGINAL OC CHARACTERS ON TUMBLR. After going on and on secretly looking at pure EliUmi fanart, I realized they are from a show called "LoveLive", so of COURSE I checked it out! Pretty sure I was kind of disappointed that they weren't the main protagonists(like Honoka protagonist level), but for some reason I continued watching it anyway. The genre, plot, everything was new to me. I thought, "This is super different but not different from K-On or MLP!!??". and through that, I ended up finishing the series.

I was very hooked to the series(still am!) so I was sad that I finished everything; but throughout my journey I find out about the seiyuus, enjoyed the niconamas subbed and posted on YouTube, and was overjoyed hearing a new group is coming along to LoveLive!(Aqours), that's when I decided to change my once an MLP Instagram account- to a LoveLive fanpage and strive from there!

LoveLive means alot to me because it widened my experiences and my enjoyment. I admire the characters very much and I probably wouldn't be the person I am today without this franchise. The show, casts, and performances, encourages me to keep moving forward despite alot of major bumps along the road. Honestly, I can't even IMAGINE who I'd be without LoveLive!! I can't thank LL enough for all it's inspired me to do and take. Thank you, friends!🌈

How did everything start, huh?

I remember it as if it was yesterday~

It all started back in 2015. I had my boyfriend staying over for the weekend. While I was cooking, he was playing this weird game (or so I thought at the time) on his tablet. I had no idea what SIF nor Love Live! was at all. I remember he was playing a Score Match and got Niko puri♥Joshi dou in Expert. He almost FC'd it and got second place, iirc. "That song is so stupid!" I thought when I heard it. In fact, from the little bit I saw of him playing, I disliked Nico!

Fast-forward to a couple of weeks later~ My dad announced he didn't want his tablet anymore so he was going to sell it. I pleaded for him to let me have it instead and he accepted. As soon as I got a hold of it, I found myself downloading SIF. EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T LIKE IT. I chose Honoka as my starter partner and the first song I tried playing was... None other than Nico's solo!! And then I just... Fell in love with the game. I quickly warmed up to Maki and Nico too! After playing for a few days, I decided to watch the anime series too. Both Maki and Nico grew even more on me~

Then we got Aqours! Mari was my favorite by a long shot, with her listening to Rock and Metal music, just like me~ But as of recently, I've noticed my love for Chika grow and grow and grow! I identify with her in a way I've never identified with any anime/game character before and she easily became my top best girl ;;

All of this has led me through Sukutomo and its community and enabled me to meet a bunch of amazing people. Some I consider close friends. And now it brought me here. Hoping to meet even more wonderful people!

What’s your Love Live! story?

My Love Live! story started back in August of 2018. I’m still pretty new as you can see, but I don’t think that makes me less of a fan than the veterans. I’m not a fan of Aqours and I never got to see μ's disband. I never got to feel any bond with μ's and Aqours because by the time I had joined the community, the hype was already long gone. It was a weird time for Love Live fans, as it also felt like Aqours was starting to die down. That’s how I became a fan of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club. TOKIMEKI Runners’ album preview had been posted on YouTube and I was HOOKED. I didn’t care for any of the girls, but I was in love with the music. One song in particular that I remember liking a lot was... Evergreen. One thing that you should know is that back then, I hated Emma. I didn’t have a reason to, but I just did. I loved making fun of her and calling her “Irrelevant Emma.” That’s why I’m blaming this past year on that song.

Within the next month, TOKIMEKI Runners had become available to purchase and my Nozomi Instagram account had turned into an Emma account. I bought the album and grew to love even the songs I hadn’t cared for earlier, but the song I listened to most was Evergreen.

A few more months went by, but I was starting to feel a bit lonely. I had all of this love for Emma and NijiGaku but I had no one to actually talk to about it. None of my friends in real life cared about it and I was too scared to talk to people. That’s when Emma changed my life: I made a group chat on Instagram. This chat was small, but the few people that were in it felt the same way about NijiGaku as I did. My real life had gotten boring and repetitive because of school and the like, but they made me excited to wake up in the morning. Talking to those people helped me talk to other people. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be on Idol Story right now. Thanks to them, I’m not afraid to reach out to people and bond with them over Love Live.

Since then, my Instagram account has grown. I’ve made some mistakes, but I’ve made so many amazing friends that I talk to today. I’ve even found people in real life who know what NijiGaku is! Emma has also helped me through the worst times of the year, where the sky was always gray and every day was just the same as the day before. She always gave me something to look forward to, whether it be new content or friends to talk to. Emma makes me feel a sense of accomplishment. She feels like the character embodiment of everything I’ve accomplished in the past year, and I wish I could thank her for that.

She really did heal my minus ions.

Hiya, I'm Mitsuru, 29 years old and a married, crazy cat mum of five. I first saw Love Lives Snow Halation at a anime convention in 2010? 2011? Idk, and I liked the song but I've never heard what it was and so it slipped my mind. Fast forward to 2013 I was asked if I want to join a Pokémon RGP, and whilst searching for a befitting icon I stumbled upon Maki Nishikino, and I was instantly in love and picked her for my RPG icon. But it was until the start of 2015 when a friend came to visit me and showed me Love Live. I immediately downloaded it, fell instantly again for Maki and drove too deep into the idol hell. When I encountered Ensemble Stars in the start of 2016 i lost track of LL a bit but Maki never cheased to amaze me, and with Aqours i found my daughter in Riko. I stopped playing LL at the end of 2016, but since the beginning of this year i'm back at my SIF game, so SIFAS came at the right time. Sadly neither Maki, nor Riko or Setsuna wanting to come home.;; My best girls are as stated Maki, Riko and Setsuna, but I like many more, like Nico, You, Ayumu, Nozomi, Yohane, Ai, etc.

I would pick Chika, Maki and Ai Their subunit would be named ChiMaI (contains a part of their names) Maki would be the leader and their songs would kinda sound like songs of TrySail (it's an amazing trio, if you don't know them, check them out, their song Coding is a good example of how I imagine ChiMaI's songs to be) ).
