Here's another cosplay/photo I love! I bought an XL of the bokuhashi cosplay from the sunshine movie and added panels into the sides of the shirt and extra back pleats and ruffles into the skirt. I had a bad experience with a seller not telling me they couldn't make my size until hours before its meant to ship out so I went with the option of modifying the cosplay and my groups arcade/city photoshoot in this set still came out amazing! I have a highlight on my insta where you can see the process of the modifications.

I'm gonna share some handmade and modified cosplays I've done with Love Live because a lot of the time, the cosplays aren't very plus size friendly so I make them work for me! I made Candy maid Kotori within a week before the con because I wanted a project to do that wasn't super hard but I also had the free time to do it. I’m terrible at words but I’m gonna try my best to describe my feelings towards Hoshizora Rin.

To Rin, Happy Birthday! I’ve celebrated 4 of your birthdays so far, each year having my love grow for you grow more and more.

I’ll start at the very beginning. January 11th 2016, I downloaded the LLSIF app. I started reading the story and immediately fell in love with you! You were so cute, your voice was so sweet and my heart was so warm just seeing how adorable you are. I desperately wanted a UR of you but it never came.. Not without trying of course. I remember when Valentine v1 came out I spent money for the first time to no avail… I decided to save for Pool. Which at some point they started putting both URs in the same box to get ready for Aqours. I was robbed of enough time, I only had 100 gems but still prayed you’d come home. I was… unlucky. I cried. “If only I had enough time, I’m sure I could’ve gotten her!” I thought.

It wasn’t until January 17th 2017 that I got my first UR of you. There was a Lily White box, It was Hanayo’s birthday so I got 5 gems. I decided ‘why not?’ and solo’d. My eyes grew wide when a UR popped out but my heart.. It gave out when I saw you. I cried, right then and there. I was so.. unbelievably happy! Since then, I’ve gotten 8 more URs of you, each one making me so happy. Some I whaled for, others I got out of pure luck, either way I was so grateful to you for blessing me like this.

I remember when I watched the anime I would always feel so happy when you’d show up. Just hearing your voice made me so happy! I related alot to your struggles with liking the things you like.. I used to be a tomboy aswell, thinking that was just what I had to be since I wasn’t conventionally pretty.. in my eyes anyway. It was like a protest even though there was nothing to protest about? It’s only recently I became comfortable being myself. I wanna stop pretending I’m someone I’m not. I want to have people like me for me.

These past 4.5 years together have been more amazing than I can describe.. It’s a time I’ll always be grateful for till the day I die. You are so important to me it’s not even funny. I want to always see you smile, forever. I wanna see you grow and be the best you can be.

I really am bad at words but my god, I love you so much.. Everytime I see you I just.. Feel so much better. You make me so happy, so overwhelmingly happy… Please continue to smile forever.

I wish I had way more but I’m content with this. I’d love to get her manju soon and much more charms. And of course, I wanted to draw her so here’s a quick thing I made for her!

I thought that I would share something that I had been working on for almost 2 months! I made and created the You Watanabe koi ni naritai Aquarium cosplay from scratch, I made my own patterns for the scales, top, skirt and socks. I even got a chance to perform in her too, I performed thrilling one way, my favourite Aqours song. Now that I am finally back into cosplay I had received proper sewing equipment to make my cosplays neater, and way more presentable, I brought an overlocker (finally) and a really cool dressmaker mannequin that you adjust. I'm excited to show you my cosplays that I make along the way, my next project is Omoi yo Hitotsu ni nare You Watanabe concert version, stay tuned!!!

I scouted for Rin again this year but only through the step-up. Unfortunately I didn’t get her like always, but I’ll still love you baby. Happy Birthday my sweet kitty 💖💖💖 here’s your birthday gift. 🥳

here's a little late birthday "present" for my all time best girl, rin! ever since i got into love live five years ago, rin caught my eye. she had become such an important character to me over the years, and i can relate to her so so much! she struggles with the same things i used to struggle with, and she helped me through them. <3 thank you, rin-chan, for making me happy every day! nya~

I've been so busy and had art block for most of October, but I'm glad I got to do one prompt at least! I imagine Nozomi to be the kind to carve a pumpkin in honour of μ's and keeping it in the club room. She's giving it one last hug before she surprises everyone with it~

I'm pretty proud of this piece! I left the shading flat because as I was finishing up I decided I want to colour her someday~
